Adventist Health serves as Presenting Sponsor for 2024 Party in the Park series

Adventist Health is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor for the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s Party in the Park event series for 2024. The eight week showcase, set for every Wednesday between 5:30 8:15 p.m. from June 12 to July 31 at the Paradise Community Park, is a celebration of local pride and community spirit. The seasonal tradition features a farmer’s
market, kids’ zone, live bands, arts, crafts and more.

Each week, Adventist Health hosts a booth to connect with community members and share important information and resources to encourage healthy habits. Adventist Health is honored to be a part of this inspiring community building event, and happy to help residents on the Ridge enjoy healthy lifestyles.

Adventist Health has continued to welcome new providers to the Ridge to help improve access to
essential care and stabilize clinic hours. This includes:

Christina Schroeder, PA-C

Pain Management

Christina Schroeder, PA-C, specializes on alleviating patient discomfort and reducing pain. Her expertise encompasses collaborating with healthcare providers to manage pain in various areas such as the neck, joints, lower back, tendons, and nerves. Christina extends her compassionate care to patients of all ages and is fluent in English and Spanish. Christina’s professional journey spans a broad spectrum of experiences, from supporting nursing staff in delivering in patient and at home hospice care to assisting physicians with a diverse range of procedures in emergency departments. She firmly believes that faith is a cornerstone of her approach and practice. Feather River Health Clinic renovation update

Adventist Health is nearing the completion of its $2.4 million renovation project at the Feather River Health Center on Skyway in Paradise. This transformative initiative aims to enhance healthcare services on the Ridge. Highlights of the renovation project include a dedicated Rapid Care Clinic and a remodeled lower level to increase provider capacity and patient access.

It will also allow for Women’s Health clinic services to move back into the Feather River Health Center to support accessibility of services in one convenient location. Additionally, Women’s Imaging services, including mammography and bone density tests, will return to the Ridge. Pending industry standard evaluation and approval from the California Department of Public Health, these new spaces are expected to welcome patients beginning in summer 2024.

Rapid Care weekend closures

Due to staffing shortages, Adventist Health’s Rapid Care Clinic, located at 5125 Skyway in Paradise, is expected to be closed on the following days: July 4 6, 13, 27, and 29. It is also scheduled to close at 3:30 p.m. on the following days: July 2 3, 12, 19, 29. These closures are subject to change. However, if you need immediate medical attention during these time periods, please go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

Adventist Health recognizes the impact that the clinic’s temporary closures have on the community, and we sincerely apologize for this disruption in care. We are actively working to stabilize hours at the clinic and look forward to providing updates to this community as we recruit and welcome new Rapid Care Clinic providers in the future.
