Greg McCulloch Named President of Adventist Health Sonora

Adventist Health has appointed Greg McCulloch as president of Adventist Health Sonora, effective today. McCulloch will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring that quality patient care is provided, and that the financial integrity of the hospital is maintained.

McCulloch has served for more than 23 years at Adventist Health Sonora, most recently as finance officer.

Greg’s long-term commitment to the community of Sonora, his accumulated skill and knowledge about the business of healthcare, and his passion for the teams that provide care at Adventist Health Sonora make him a great person to fill this important leadership role.

“Greg is a disciplined and thoughtful hospital leader,” said Kerry L. Heinrich, president and CEO of Adventist Health. “His leadership approach is animated by a passion for his community, for the faith-based mission of Adventist Health, and a desire to build healthcare capabilities he would want for himself or his loved ones.”

“Leadership in healthcare is more than good medicine or great outcomes. It is connection with people who are trusting us at their most vulnerable moments,” McCulloch said. “Our mission comes alive when we create care experiences that are story worthy. We have a great team creating these care experiences each day. I am honored to serve as the leader of this engaged organization and I am committed to growing our presence so we can transform lives.”

“Greg represents the sharp, thoughtful and intentional leadership reflective of the Sonora community, that will build strong partnerships and more integration in the years ahead,” said Eric Stevens, Northern California network president.
