Adventist Health Bakersfield Officially Reopens Revitalized Emergency Department Front Entrance

Adventist Health Bakersfield is excited to announce that Tuesday, April 30, 2025, the Emergency Department entrance has officially returned to its original location at the front of the hospital, adjacent to the main entrance off Chester Avenue.

After months of revitalization, the newly modernized entrance and waiting areas are now open to better serve our community, offering an enhanced experience for patients and their families. All walk-in emergency patients should now use the Chester Avenue entrance.

For added convenience, free valet parking is available at the Emergency Department entrance, and updated signage has been installed to guide visitors. Ambulance arrivals will continue through the same EMS entrance, with no changes to protocol.
