Care and support for aging safely and comfortably
As you age, your health needs inevitably change. At Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, our specialists help you better manage your changing health so you can continue to enjoy life. From preventive measures and educational resources, to advanced treatments for a wide range of conditions that are common to seniors, Adventist Health has the support and care you need.
Specialized programs
In addition to our general services, we offer specific programs to support patients and families coping with challenging conditions related to aging.
Adult day services: Life-enriching care for seniors
Older or disabled adults may not be able to fully care for themselves, but they still deserve friendly, stimulating care, and support. Our adult day services is a licensed program at Hutchins Street Square that provides daily activities to foster group participation, social interaction, and mental stimulation.
In addition to our life enriching activities like supervised exercise and walks, music therapy, arts and crafts, and entertainment, our team provides a full spectrum of health monitoring and support services, from medication assistance to wound care. Nourishing lunches and snacks are a part of each day's schedule.
Individual plans are developed for each participant and include dietary needs/restrictions, health support needs, and activities. Participants may attend as many days of the week as they like, and transportation assistance is available. Support groups and other resources are available to caregiving family members as well. Wheelchairs/walkers are welcome.
Fall prevention
Falls are a major threat to the health and independence of seniors — but they can be prevented. Adventist Health collaborates with LOEL Senior Center to provide a falls prevention program, where a team of professionals share fall prevention strategies so older adults can live better, longer lives. Our falls prevention program is free to participants and takes place weekly at the LOEL Senior Center.
