Whether you’re exploring a future in healthcare or looking for a meaningful way to give back, volunteering at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial lets you make a real difference in the lives of patients, families, and our community. At Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, we offer two distinct volunteer pathways, each designed for different interests and goals.

Volunteer opportunities: Serve your community

Our standard Volunteer Program is perfect for individuals 18 and older who want to give back and support our hospital’s daily operations. We provide onboarding for new volunteers quarterly. Opportunities include:

  • Adult day care
  • Chaplaincy
  • Gift shop assistance
  • Lobby and front desk roles
  • Music therapy (lobby piano available)
  • Special events and community outreach
  • Wayfinding and patient support

Volunteer commitment

  • Minimum 6-month commitment required
  • Consistent weekly or biweekly 4-hour shifts
  • Must be dependable, friendly, and service-oriented

LAUNCH program: Explore a career in healthcare 

The LAUNCH program is ideal for students and career explorers who want hands-on exposure to the healthcare environment. Cohorts are offered 3 – 4 times a year. This program is for you if you are:

  • Age 16 or older
  • Curious about career paths within healthcare
  • Interested in hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience
  • Looking to learn from professionals across hospital departments
  • Motivated, dependable, and eager to grow
