At our state-of-the-art Therapy and Wellness Center, our experienced physical therapists and rehab professionals offer a comprehensive range of outpatient rehabilitation services to help you regain independence, improve function, and enhance your quality of life. Located in the community of Eagle Rock (less than a mile from our main hospital campus), our Center features a fully appointed gym, sports training rooms, exercise rooms, private treatment rooms, and much more. We also provide aquatic therapy on our main Adventist Health Glendale campus.

Our services

Our comprehensive services include:

Aquatic therapy

Aquatic physical therapy uses the warmth and buoyancy of water to make movement and exercise more comfortable. For patients who find exercising on land difficult, our therapeutic pool temperature of 90–92°F can help loosen stiff joints, reduce pressure on the body, and support the strengthening of weakened muscles.

Conditions that may benefit from aquatic therapy include:

  • Chronic pain
  • Conditions affecting the arms, legs, hands, or feet
  • Herniated discs and degenerative changes to the spine
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Recovery following a total joint replacement
Prerequisite

Entry into Aquatic Physical Therapy Program requires a physician referral (including diagnosis) for physical therapy followed by a clearance evaluation by a physical therapist at the Therapy & Wellness Center.

Hand therapy

Hand therapy is a specialized form of rehabilitation for conditions and injuries affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and arm. Our physical therapists help patients reduce pain, restore movement and strength, and improve their ability to perform everyday activities.

Hand therapy may help with:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Flexor and extensor tendon injuries
  • Fractures and dislocations
  • Inflammatory and degenerative arthritis
  • Recovery before and after surgery
