Oliver Ong, MD, Joins Specialty Care in Atascadero

We are pleased to welcome Oliver Ong, MD, to our patient care team serving the Adventist Health Specialty Care in Atascadero.

Dr. Ong is an experienced board-certified endocrinologist who provides treatment for patients with hormonal and metabolic conditions of varying severity. These include diabetes and hypercalcemia, as well as menstrual, thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disorders.

A strong advocate for health maintenance and preventative medicine, Dr. Ong is committed to partnering with his patients to support treatment of their health concerns with the most current options available. He fully explains these choices and creates clear expectations regarding the next steps on their healthcare journey.

Dr. Ong emphasizes preventative care, as it helps patients see and understand how small changes can yield significant benefits, so they can live life to the fullest. He is fluent in English, Chinese-Mandarin, Hokkien, and Tagalog.
