Made for More: Empowering Women Through Every Stage of Life
Nov 13, 2025
From adolescence to menopause and beyond, a woman’s health journey is constantly evolving. For VanNessa Hill, MSN, FNP-C, each stage is an opportunity to educate, support, and empower women to take charge of their well-being.
Practicing at Visalia Medical Clinic – Adventist Health Physicians Network in Visalia, VanNessa provides compassionate, whole-person care for women and those who identify as female. Her practice includes general gynecology, family planning, contraception, pelvic pain management, cervical cancer screening and mid-life wellness. She encourages her patients to view preventive care as an act of self-advocacy — one that allows them to make informed decisions about their bodies and their futures.
“I wanted to provide education and resources to help patients advocate for themselves,” she explains. “When women understand their options, they’re better equipped to make choices that support long-term health.”
With more than seven years of experience in family medicine and women’s health, VanNessa brings both clinical ability and heartfelt compassion to her patients. Guided by faith, she believes wisdom and empathy are essential to caring for women during their most vulnerable moments.
Whether she’s discussing contraception options, addressing abnormal bleeding, or guiding a patient through mid-life changes, VanNessa strives to make every interaction meaningful. “I love that I can make even a small impact or help someone in a small way,” she shares.
Outside of work, the Oakland native enjoys gardening, crocheting, and walking her three beloved dogs — a mini-Aussie, terrier mix, and Havanese.
VanNessa Hill is made for more than medicine — she’s made for helping women feel seen, supported, and strong through every season of life.
