Celebrating Our Spring 2026 ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade

Adventist Health White Memorial has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Spring 2026, recognizing the hospital’s continued commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

For more than 100 years, Adventist Health White Memorial has served the community with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. The hospital continues to prioritize quality, transparency, and accountability across every level of the organization.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition once again,” said Daniel Fontoura, president of Adventist Health White Memorial. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our physicians, nurses, clinical teams, and associates who work every day to provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care to our community.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only national hospital ratings program focused exclusively on preventable medical errors, infections, and injuries. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public. Hospitals nationwide receive a letter grade based on more than 30 national performance measures reflecting patient safety and the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.

“An ‘A’ Grade is a strong sign that Adventist Health White Memorial is deeply committed to protecting patients from harm,” said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. “We commend the leadership, Board, clinicians, staff, and volunteers for the role each played in earning this distinction.”
