Play Therapy for Children
Often used with children 3 through 11, our play therapy provides a way for these patients to express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process. Children naturally communicate their experiences and knowledge during play which can help a therapist diagnose their behavior both inside and outside the session.
ADD Evaluations
Attention Deficit Disorder is officially diagnosed when a patient possesses a certain number of specific symptoms, however, it is necessary to take in to account other illnesses that may be causing symptoms that could be similar to that of ADD when making an assessment. Our providers take all of this into account when they make their evaluations.
Psychiatric Evaluations
The purpose behind modern psychological evaluation is to try and pinpoint what is happening or has happened in someone's psychological life that may be inhibiting their ability to behave or feel in more appropriate or constructive way. It is the mental equivalent of physical examination.
