JUSTIN Community Grant Improves Access to Care

A $35,000 grant from JUSTIN Community Grants will expand prenatal education, improve access for underserved families, and bring new obstetric monitoring technology to Adventist Health Twin Cities.

The funding will provide six free cycles of Prepared Childbirth, Prenatal Breastfeeding, and Baby Care Basics classes, helping expectant parents feel more informed, prepared, and supported as they welcome a new baby.

The grant will also launch two additional three-class cycles in San Miguel with Mixteco interpretation. By bringing classes closer to where families live and offering language access, the program will reduce barriers for families who may otherwise have limited access to prenatal education.

In addition, the grant will fund three Novii+ wireless obstetric monitoring systems for Adventist Health Twin Cities. This technology allows care teams to continuously monitor maternal and fetal well-being while giving patients greater freedom of movement during labor.

This investment responds directly to priorities identified by our clinical teams and reflects what is possible when local philanthropy helps expand access, strengthen care, and support families close to home.

We are deeply grateful to JUSTIN Community Grants for investing in mothers, babies, and families throughout North San Luis Obispo County.
