Play to Learn Pediatric Therapy Center

Nothing concerns parents more than wondering if their child is developing according to their age. For more than 10 years, the Play to Learn Center at Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL) has been providing expert, compassionate pediatric therapy to children with special needs, disabilities or disorders. Our goal is to provide the most appropriate therapies for each child's specific needs, including:

  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy

AHGL's Play to Learn Center also understands that the majority of learning takes place in the home—that's why our therapy/play areas have observation rooms, allowing both children and their parents to learn developmental skills to practice at home.

Conditions We Treat

Our team of licensed professionals—including occupational, physical and speech therapists—treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, including developmental delays, sensory deficits, cerebral palsy, stroke, autism, genetic disorders, Tourette syndrome/tic disorders and many other diagnoses.

Additional Services

To help our young patients reach their individual developmental goals, the Play to Learn Center offers a variety of additional programs and services, including:

  • Individual therapy and developmental play groups
  • A sensory integration program
  • High-risk infant follow-up
  • Patient and family education
  • School assessments
  • Day camp programs
  • Pool therapy
  • Equipment assessment
  • Referral to other resources, when necessary
