Visiting Hours
Visitor guidelines: For situations in which visitors are allowed, preferred visiting hours are from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on all Medical/Surgical units.
In order to maintain a restful environment for the patient and allow for nursing care, visiting hours in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) are limited to 5-10 minutes per hour. Children under 12 are generally not permitted, per hospital policy, in the ICU. Children under 13 are generally not permitted in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Mask recommendation & screening prior to entry: Visitors are recommended to wear a mask and must self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms or exposure upon entry. Visitors with symptoms or recent exposure may not visit.
Nursing staff may use discretion to alter these restrictions as warranted by patient condition. Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
