Lauren Day, Foundation President

Lauren Day serves as President of the Adventist Health Central California Foundation and has led fundraising efforts for Adventist Health’s North Market for the past five years. She holds a master's degree in organizational leadership, is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), and brings more than a decade of philanthropy experience to her role. During her tenure with Adventist Health, Lauren helped secure the largest philanthropic gift in the organization’s history. Lauren was honored as the 2026 Tulare/Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year and recognized as an Association of Healthcare Professionals 40 Under 40 honoree. Passionate about connecting donors with meaningful opportunities, she enjoys helping people see the direct impact they can make in community health through philanthropy. Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time with her husband and three young children.

Christina Scrivner, Philanthropy Director

Christina began her work at Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley and now leads donor engagement and fundraising initiatives throughout Kern County. During her nine years with Adventist Health, she has played an instrumental role in developing programs and strengthening philanthropy efforts across the Southern region of our organization. Silvia Mendoza, Major Gifts Officer

Silvia joined the Adventist Health Central California Foundation in March 2026 and quickly became a valued member of the team. Since making Bakersfield home with her husband and three children, she has embraced the region's strong sense of community and commitment to helping others. With a background in sales leadership and account management, Silvia enjoys connecting with donors and community partners to advance philanthropic initiatives that improve the health and well-being of local patients and families.

Tori Jacobs, Annual Giving Officer

Tori joined the team in June 2026 and supports annual giving efforts throughout the Central California region, including the associate giving program. Before joining the foundation, she led marketing and physician relations efforts for a local cancer center, focusing heavily on cancer prevention and early detection initiatives. Deeply connected to the Kern County community through years of nonprofit involvement and volunteer service, Tori brings a heartfelt commitment to helping families access expert healthcare close to home. Inspired by her own experience after losing her father to cancer in 2023, she is passionate about supporting patients and strengthening whole-person care. At home, she enjoys life as a proud new mom to her six-month-old son, Jaxton.

Caroline Raygoza, Philanthropy Specialist

Caroline joined the Foundation in January 2026 after a remarkable 20-year career with Adventist Health in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Her passion for building relationships and supporting others made philanthropy a natural next chapter. The foundation's mission is deeply personal to Caroline, shaped by the loss of her grandfather to lymphoma and her mother's ongoing journey with stage 4 stomach cancer. These experiences have given her a profound appreciation for compassionate care and community support. When she's not working, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, and creating lasting family memories.
