Providing quality health services to rural communities

Adventist Health knows the importance of keeping healthcare local. Our Rural Health Clinics provide services to publicly insured individuals and others in communities in rural areas to ensure they have access to the care they need close to home.

To be certified as a Rural Health Clinic by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, these clinics must be located in eligible areas and meet regulatory requirements. Adventist Health has Rural Health Clinics across California, Hawaii and Oregon.

Our Rural Health Clinics vary from small, one- or two-provider offices to large facilities with primary care, specialty, dental, behavioral health, perinatal and other services. And because these clinics are part of the larger Adventist Health system, we can provide additional services at nearby Adventist Health medical centers. Find an Adventist Health location near you to access these services.

Our system has the largest network of Rural Health Clinics in California. In fact, more than 20 percent of California’s Rural Health Clinics are part of the Adventist Health system. Adventist Health's rural health network is also one of the largest in the nation. We’re proud to serve our rural communities with the high-quality, coordinated care they deserve.
