The Northwest Region includes Adventist Medical Center – Portland, Tillamook Regional Medical Center and Walla Walla General Hospital along with 43 medical clinics, two home care agencies and two retirement centers. While Wing will chair the board for AMC - Portland, Newmyer will chair the governing boards in Tillamook, Ore. and Walla Walla, Wash.

She was recognized as a leader in the state of Maryland for reducing unnecessary readmissions.
