Judson Howe

President of North Coast Network

Judson Howe serves as the President of the North Coast Network for Adventist Health overseeing six facilities—Ukiah Valley, Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast, Clear Lake, St. Helena and Vallejo. Previously Judson served as President in Mendocino County, leading our three hospitals Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast and Ukiah Valley, as well as our medical offices and other services throughout the county.

Judson previously served as the finance and strategy officer for the three hospitals in Mendocino County, after leading finance and strategy for Adventist Health Howard Memorial since 2016. He brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare finance and strategy to this role. Under his leadership, Adventist Health improved access to care in Mendocino County by bringing in new physicians, enhanced coordination of care and synergy across three hospitals and invested in much-needed equipment and facility upgrades.

Judson is passionate about community wellness and well-being and caring for the community beyond the four walls of the hospital, addressing the social determinants of health.

Judson moved to Ukiah from Southern California more than six years ago and has fallen in love with the area where he and his wife have raised their two young children. He is excited to improve the care for many families that call Northern California home, including his own.

Judson is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino.

Judy Leach

Administrator

Judy Leach serves as the administrator for Adventist Health Mendocino Coast. Judy has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, including nearly 15 years with Adventist Health.

Judy most recently served as communications executive for the organization’s 22 hospitals and hundreds of clinics. Prior to that role, Leach led strategy execution for Adventist Health’s urban and rural hospitals and clinics in Oregon, Washington and Hawaii while serving as vice president for strategic planning and communications.

An avid lifelong learner, she holds a master’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific University. She and her young adult children call the Mendocino Coast home.

Therese Courtenay

Patient Care Executive

Therese Courtenay serves as patient care executive for Adventist Health Mendocino Coast. Therese oversees quality initiatives, all nursing practices, infection control, pharmacy and anesthesia, for the Mendocino Coast. She most recently served as System Director of Patient Experience at Adventist Health for the organization’s 22 hospitals and hundreds of clinics. Previous to this, her time at the system office also included such positions as Director of Inpatient Nursing Services and Director of Medical Surgical Services, Behavioral Health and Nursing Administration.

With more than 24 years of experience working with Adventist Health, Therese is eager to build on our combined strengths and believes that the highest level in quality, safety and experience can be achieved by working together as a cohesive team, adapting to continual changing environments and using every tool possible to achieve success.

Therese graduated from Massey University with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and went on to obtain her master’s in business administration from Loma Linda University and later obtained her professional degree in nursing (DNP) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Therese looks forward to being embedded in the community in a role where she can make a difference. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, spending time at the ocean with her family—her husband and two grown children and teenage daughter.

Warren Tetz

Chief Financial Officer for the North Coast Network

Warren Tetz serves as the chief financial officer of the North Coast Network, overseeing six facilities—Ukiah Valley, Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast, Clear Lake, St. Helena and Vallejo.

Warren brings a wealth of hospital finance and operations experience to this role with over 40 years’ experience. He has worked within the Adventist Health systems in California and Florida in a wide range of positions including chief financial officer at Glendale, Simi Valley and White Memorial in addition to the Medical Center Hospital in Florida. Earlier in his career, as budgeting director for the Adventist Health system, Warren had the opportunity to become familiar with all hospitals in the system. In his most recent role he served as director of asset management for the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Warren’s extensive leadership experience and vast knowledge of operations, service line development, revenue cycle and all aspects of healthcare financial administration benefit our communities, as we grow and thrive.

Tracye Williams

Philanthropy President

Tracye Williams oversees philanthropy across our three hospitals in Mendocino County as the president of philanthropy for Ukiah Valley, Howard Memorial and the Mendocino Coast hospitals.

Before taking on this role, Tracye had nearly 15 years of philanthropic experience, holding leadership positions with MedStar Health in Washington, DC., Christiana Care in New Castle, DE. and most recently executive director of AdventHealth Ocala Foundation in Ocala, FL.

Tracye works closely with community partners to build relationships and strengthen philanthropic support for Adventist Health in Mendocino County. This includes encouraging philanthropy partnerships for the county’s Blue Zones project and the amazing work throughout the county to make the healthy choice, the easy choice for a variety of lifestyle options.

Tracye holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Delaware State University. She is passionate about giving back to our communities and making a difference for all through philanthropy.
