Inpatient Acute Physical Rehabilitation

The Inpatient Rehabilitation program at Adventist Health White Memorial is a 16-bed unit providing medical rehabilitation following a serious illness or injury. The program offers a special level of rehabilitative care designed for patients who need an intensive, coordinated approach to achieve their highest level of recovery and independence.

In the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, patients spend most of the day out of bed participating in therapy or other activities. Therapy is provided a minimum of 3 hours per day, 5 out of 7 days per week. This may or may not include Saturday and/or Sunday. Rest periods will be scheduled as needed. The length of your stay varies based on needs and progress.

The rehabilitation unit accepts referrals from discharge planners, case managers, physicians and healthcare organizations.
