Vallejo

Community Benefit

The Adventist Health Vallejo Center for Behavioral Health offers a range of behavioral health services in Vallejo, California. Our campus is a freestanding 61-bed facility offering short-term psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults. We also offer partial hospitalization programs for adults. The hospital admits over 2000 patients per year. Adventist Health Vallejo is one of the only hospitals in California that admits and treats children under the age of 12. We are an active part of the Vallejo healthcare community, and the absence of these services would severely impact the availability and quality of mental health services and impact the needs and safety of the community.

In 2022, Adventist Health provided:

  • $67.5 million in free & discounted care
  • $25.5 million in community health improvement
  • $28.8 million in education and research
  • $287.9 million in aid to the underserved
  • $442.2 million in aid to older adults
  • $183.6 million subsidized community healthcare
  • $1.036 billion total
