Cancer Support Groups

After Breast Cancer Support Group
Support group for women who are facing, have faced, or are recovering from breast cancer. This group meets the 1st Thursday of every month at the Simi Valley Senior Center.

Providing a home-like environment where people with cancer, their families, and friends can come to receive support, education, nutrition and exercise information, and stress management assistance.
Centrally located at 530 Hampshire Rd., Westlake Village, CA 91361, with satellite and offsite locations in Winnetka, Ventura, Oxnard, and Camarillo.

Colon Cancer Self-Help Group
A Program of the American Cancer Society

The Colon Cancer Self-Help Group provides cancer patients and their partners a chance to share experience, learn more about the disease, and gain skills to help adjust to their own individual needs after the diagnosis.

Blood Related Cancers Family Support Group
A Program of the Cancer Center of Ventura County

This program meets the first Thursday each month from 6pm - 7:30pm to assist people with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma in coping more effectively with their illness and learning as much as possible about their disease. Family members are welcome.

These groups are guided by two healthcare professionals and are intended to give information and support and to encourage greater communication among patients, their families, friends and healthcare professionals.

Prostate Cancer Support Group
A Program of Prostate Cancer Education and Support Group

Prostate Cancer Support Group is an educational and support group for all men diagnosed with prostate cancer before, during and after treatment. It provides an opportunity to discuss issues, exchange information and share concerns. Spouses, partners and family members are encouraged to attend. Group meets from 10:00 am - 11:30 am the 3rd Tuesday each month.

Women's Crochet Support Group

Breastfeeding Support
We offer free breastfeeding support to anyone who needs it. Breastfeeding Cafe is available every Thursday from 9:00am-10:00am at Adventist Health Simi Valley. To register please call 805-955-6305.

Sibling Relations
