Mobile Shower Trailer

Pop Up Care Shower Project in Lake County

Adventist Health Clear Lake invested in a Shower Trailer as part of its commitment to Community Wellness in Lake County and its continued Mission to Inspire God’s Love by Inspiring Health, Wholeness, and Hope. The Pop-Up Care Shower Project has enhanced community wellness by connecting our neighbors experiencing homelessness to essential services with dignity and respect.

The first group to have access to the free showers was the local veterans at the Veteran’s Stand Down in 2019. Since its inception, the shower has served over 10,000 individuals in Lake County. Although it is used on a regular basis for our community members, we realize that it serves as a community benefit during disasters and power outages as well. Our Community Health team is happy to partner with our community to support with showers and resources during local emergencies.

Our shower trailer is located in various places throughout the county during the week, providing showers, clean clothes, lunch, community support, care management, document recovery, and more.
