Adventist Health White Memorial has an experienced medical team, sophisticated equipment and quality of services you and your family need, all in one hospital. Adventist Health White Memorial is especially well-respected in our community for our excellence in women’s and children’s care. We also offer classes that teach you how to care for yourself and your baby, private and semiprivate rooms, and many other services including our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) — one of the best in the state for infants born early or with complications.

To help you as you prepare for your new little one, we offer maternity classes, many of which are available in both English and Spanish.


Offered in English and Spanish, this class will teach you everything you need to know about labor, birth and your hospital stay. This class meets once a week.

When you attend Lamaze class, you will also receive information on how to prepare for the birth of your baby and samples to help you care for yourself and your infant once they arrives.

One-day Lamaze

This single-day class is for couples who are registering late or who are just too busy to attend class once a week.

Breastfeeding class

Breastfeeding is the best feeding for your baby! Learn how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk and more. Our lactation clinic is an outpatient offering to follow up for our breastfeeding mothers.

This class is offered in both English and Spanish.

Infant CPR and safety

Learn lifesaving techniques and tips on how to make your car and home a safer place for your new baby.

We Care Baby Care

Be confident in caring for your baby! Learn how to bathe, take temperature, when to call the doctor and more.
