Adventist Health White Memorial’s 3rd Annual Cardio-Cerebral Nursing Symposium will take place Friday, April 26, 2019 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Designed to bring you up-to-date care from two fields in one place.

The Cardio-Cerebral Nursing Symposium will be held at the following location:

Registration Information

Your registration to the Cardio-Cerebral Nursing Symposium includes continental breakfast, lunch, program handouts and parking validation. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:00 a.m.

Course Description

This course is intended to provide health care professionals current, evidence-based knowledge across the continuum of cardiovascular and stroke care.

At the Conclusion of this Activity, Participants Will be Able To:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of evidence- based practices for heart failure, stroke and peripheral vascular disease
  • Identify pharmacological treatments for the cardio- cerebral patient
  • Understand the nursing care of the TAVR patient
  • Demonstrate knowledge in identifying high risk PCI patients
  • Incorporate resilience techniques to achieve life balance
  • Understand the spiritual needs of persons living with heart failure
