Course Description

This course is intended to provide health care professionals current, evidence based knowledge across the continuum of cardiovascular and stroke care.

Program handouts are not guaranteed for same day walk-in registrations.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Identify pharmacological treatments for the cardio- cerebral patient
Demonstrate knowledge for stroke risk reduction in atrial fibrillation
Understand the impact of COVID-19 on the stroke patient
Understand the care for patients with carotid artery disease
Identify emotional and social challenges in caring for our patients
