Compensation Package: The compensation figures listed below are effective
beginning January 1.
PGY-1:
- $61,542* (MD)
- $61,586* (DO)
- $61,330* (DPM)
PGY-2:
- $62,682
PGY-3:
- $65,385*
- $64,185* (OB/GYN)
PGY-4:
- $72,234* (OB/GYN only)
* The total annual compensation package includes all
bonuses, reimbursements, incentives for boards, etc. Medical License and
Board Exam reimbursement/incentives vary by specialty.

- Time Off - 4 weeks
- Meals - All meals are provided free of charge up to a total of $24.00 per 24 hours (1 day) when provided in the hospital restaurant. Additionally, refrigerators are stocked with food items, located in the resident and operating room physician lounges.
- Parking - Secured, gated parking is provided to all house staff free of charge.
- Housing - Housing is also available on hospital grounds. Most residents live in nearby communities of Pasadena, Glendale, Monterey Park, etc.
- Plan Coverage - Health and dental plans for the resident and his/her immediate family are provided. Malpractice coverage, State Disability and Life insurance are also included.
- Lab Coats - 3 provided during new resident orientation, 1 per year thereafter at no charge.

Call Rooms
Call rooms (individual and private, either with private showers or shower adjacent) are provided for all residents when on-call. Each call room is equipped with a computer.
Resident Lounge
A Resident Lounge including kitchen area/workroom is available. Areas include several computer work areas, flat screen TVs, mailboxes, copier, lounging area and meeting table/chairs.
