Introduction

Rounds The Adventist Health White Memorial Internal Medicine Department offers a fully accredited three-year residency. Five categorical and four preliminary positions are offered each year through the National Residency Matching Program. Residents in each of the three years participate in the care of adult medical patients in the hospital and clinic settings

The faculty includes hospital-based as well as full-time practicing internists, and medical sub-specialists. The teaching program emphasizes patient-oriented teaching rounds on both the inpatients and outpatient services and includes a full schedule of both didactic and case-oriented conferences. Medical and Physician Assistant students rotate on the inpatient and outpatient services. We offer an inner city patient population in a private hospital setting.
