We offer information, assistance, and referral services for Covered California, Medicare, and Medi-Cal enrollment at our Community Information Center.

Community Information Center Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fridays, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Evening appointments are available upon request.

Here’s your opportunity to get affordable health insurance to protect you and your family! Covered California open enrollment is from November 1, 2016 to January 31, 2017. If you do not have health care coverage, it is highly recommended you sign-up by December 15, 2016 to avoid a tax penalty. Medicare is a federal health insurance program offered to people who are: 65 years or older, certain individuals with disabilities. Other requirements include working and paying into the system for at least 10 years, or being married to an individual who has paid into the system for 10 years.

Medicare Benefits:

  • Inpatient hospital services
  • Physician, outpatient, home health, and preventive health services
  • Prescription medications

Please bring the following documents to your appointment:

  • Social Security card
  • Form of identification


Medi-Cal is California’s version of the government sponsored health insurance program known as Medicaid. Medi-Cal provides free or low-cost care for some low-income people, families of children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Medi-Cal Benefits:

  • Inpatient/Outpatient hospital services
  • Prenatal care
  • Physician services
  • Vaccines for children
  • Laboratory and x-rays services

Please bring the following documents to your appointment:

  • U.S. birth or naturalization certificate(s)
  • 3 current paycheck stubs
  • Social Security Card(s)
  • Verification of pregnancy (if pregnant)
