In addition to fundraising and building parks in the city, she also garnered committee support and implemented a paramedic program in the Loma Linda Fire Department.

Karen has also served as a trustee on the La Sierra University Board of Directors and has held multiple leadership roles at Loma Linda. She is a great resource in helping strengthen our relationship with our sister hospitals, supporting our medical education focus and improving our physician satisfaction.
