Adventist Health St. Helena prepares for PG&E power outage

PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) - Updated 11/19/19 at 4:00 PM

PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff for Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21

PG&E Power Shutoff Warning:
Due to a combination of high winds and dry fuel conditions, PG&E has announced a public safety power shutoff at our hospital beginning at 4:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, November 20, and continuing through Thursday, November 21.

Adventist Health St. Helena will remain open and operational using generator power. The emergency department, Martin O-Neil Cancer Center (except for radiation as the linear accelerator will not be functional), Medical Surgical, Intensive Care teams and all diagnostic testing (MRI, X-rays, CT scans, Lab), Job Care, Lifestyle Medicine Institute and the Deer Park Pharmacy will continue to meet the needs of all who are inpatient and immediate care. However, elective surgeries (e.g. knee replacement surgery, etc.) will be rescheduled.

All clinics are anticipated to have full power and will remain open, including Hidden Valley Lake. Adventist Health Physicians Network Calistoga will remain open using Calistoga’s generator power.

Associate and Patient Hotline
We have established an emergency number with a phone tree for staff and our patients to use for updates regarding the power outage. This number will be open starting at 6:00 P.M. 11/19, giving information on the PG&E power status at our facility. The telephone number is: 707-967-5669.
