PG&E has confirmed that power will be shut off in Napa and Sonoma counties between midnight and 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. Rest assured, Adventist Health St. Helena is ready. In the event PG&E does shut the power off, the hospital has backup power generators ready to go and will continue to care for our community.

Adventist Health St. Helena Medical Center will remain open and operational. The emergency department, Martin O-Neil Cancer Center (except for radiation therapy), Medical Surgical, Intensive Care and all diagnostic testing (MRI, X-rays, CT, Lab) will continue to meet the needs of all who are in need of inpatient and immediate care. However, elective surgeries (e.g. knee replacement surgery, etc.) will be rescheduled and our clinic and physician offices will be closed. Adventist Health St. Helena staff will reach out to patients to reschedule appointments, tests and procedures as soon as possible following the outage.

Hotline for Patients and Associates
Adventist Health St. Helena has established an emergency hotline for patients and associates to answer questions and get the most current information as it relates to the power outage and our facility. This number is available beginning Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The telephone number is: 707-967-5669.
We are working closely with our community partners and will continue monitoring all information from PG&E as well as our local emergency response team and will continue to update you as we know more.

Be Prepared
At this time, make sure to prepare yourself and your household in the event of a power shutoff. Gas up your vehicles, have cash on hand, have adequate water and non-perishable foods, make sure prescriptions are filled, and make sure you have a plan for backup power for medical devices such as ventilators.

Updates will be posted here on our website and on our Facebook page as information becomes available. Information is also available from PG&E at pge.com/safety.
