COVID-19 Visiting Guidelines
Perioperative services visitation policies, effective December 20, 2021:
In accordance with California Department of Public Health guidelines, visitors are allowed in the surgical pre-op area.
- Adult surgery patients are allowed one visitor.
- Pediatric surgery patients are allowed two visitors.
All visitors must:
- Provide proof of being fully vaccinated 14 or more days ago OR a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours*

Wear a well-fitting surgical mask upon entry and at all times within the facility.
- Clothing articles, bandanas and personal cloth masks are not acceptable.
- Wear any other personal protective equipment (PPE) that facility personnel deem appropriate for the situation.
- Physically distance themselves from facility personnel and other patients/residents/visitors who are not part of their group at all times while in the facility.
- Be 18 years or older

Wait outside, in a vehicle, or at a different location during the patient’s
procedure and recovery time.
- Staff will be in contact with the visitors via phone to provide updates about the patient.
- Visitors may not use the patient registration area as a waiting area.
