Stella Riddell, DNP, RN, CNS

Stella Riddell, DNP, RN, CNS, serves as the Patient Care Executive and raises the bar in expectations of clinical excellence and promotes shared governance. Dr. Riddell is an effective change agent and has created sustainable clinical practices that impacted nurses and their patients. She loves to engage clinicians to improve their practice and provide quality care. Dr. Riddell’s personal mission statement is: Practice with integrity, spread compassion with respect, inspire through excellence, and encourage holistic and spiritual health.

Her journey with Adventist Health Simi Valley includes her roles as the Associate Patient Care Executive and Administrative Director of Nursing Operations. A graduate from Grand Canyon University, Dr. Riddell earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2020 as well as her Master of Science in advanced practice nursing in 2010.

Born in Long Beach, Dr. Riddell now resides locally with her husband Matt and their three children. In college, she was co-captain of the rowing team. These days, her hobbies include running, yoga, traveling and watching the sunset at the beach.
