Introducing the 2014 Rideout Health Teen Leadership Council
Thirty-nine area high school students were chosen by high school administrators and Rideout Health staff to be installed as members of the 2014 Rideout Health Teen Leadership Council (TLC).
The Rideout Health TLC provides students a unique chance to:
- Enjoy privileged opportunities to meet hospital staff, physicians and RH senior leaders in order to gain insight into a career in health care
- Job shadow our healthcare professionals
- Participate in philanthropic activities
- Help plan and host events, which benefit Rideout Health
Members of the TLC are expected to:
- Attend monthly meetings
- Participate in seasonal activities that are sanctioned by Rideout Health
- Act as spokespersons for Rideout Health and liaisons for their high school

The TLC was established in an effort to engage young adults who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a strong desire to make a difference in our community. Membership in the TLC is free. Membership is an opportunity open to students who excel in academics, who are leaders in their school and who have an interest in healthcare.
