Tabitha Galindo, DPT

Physical Therapist

Tabitha Galindo feels privileged to help people facing challenges work through the healing process. “My patients inspire me as they exhibit genuine resolve and resilience in the face of adversity,” she says.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science at Harding University, she went to Pacific University for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has won many professional awards and gained experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings. She’s also worked as a gymnastics instructor.

Now she especially focuses gait, balance and vestibular rehabilitation as well as rehabilitation for many types of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries including chronic pain and adolescent injuries.

Tabitha believes in the body’s amazing healing potential. “You are the real rehab rock star,” she tells patients. “We want to work as a team to achieve goals that are meaningful to you and help you learn to manage your symptoms independently.”

A Pacific Northwest native, Tabitha enjoys going with her husband and dogs for hikes or trips to the coast. They also enjoy traveling to experience new cultures and cuisines; she loves music, cooking, and gymnastics.

Because she is passionate about global health care access, Tabitha also spends time outside of work on the board of a nonprofit,Little Hands - Big Hearts, which helps to empower the families of children with special needs in Honduras. She also engages young professionals through service in the Oregon Physical Therapy Association’s membership committee, delegation, and the member-led initiatives workgroup, and as adjunct faculty at the Pacific University School of Physical Therapy.
