About
Dr. Andrea Young, MD, always wanted to be a doctor because she enjoys helping people. Helping people better understand their injuries and helping them improve is what Dr. Young finds particularly rewarding about her work as an orthopedic surgeon.
She completed medical school at the University of Washington after working at UW as an athletic trainer. “I loved working with the orthopedic surgeons and athletes,” she explains, so she went on to complete a residency in orthopedics at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Young is board certified in orthopedics and in the sports medicine subspecialty.
Dr. Young is married and has three boys. When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys soccer, hiking, kayaking and spending time with her family.
