Inpatient Services

Wholesome well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Our Room Service program features a wide variety of made-to-order, freshly prepared meals. Your Host or Hostess will assist you in selecting items from our menu that will adhere to your physician ordered diet and ensure optimal nutrition. Meals are available between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please notify your health care team if you have any allergies, cultural or religious food restrictions. Registered Dietitians are available to offer additional guidance, nutrition support, and education. Guest meals are offered for purchase for friends and family members visiting or staying with patients.

Outpatient Services

Nutritional Services provides medical nutrition therapy, which includes assessment, care plan, re-assessment and education to pediatric, adult, and geriatric outpatients. Home visits for these services are also provided upon request to our Home Care patients. Registered dietitians provide nutrition instruction and classes to special outpatient groups.

Non-Patient Services

Nutritional Service provides regular cafeteria meals to all employees, medical staff and visitors to Adventist Medical Center in our Garden Café for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Vending machines are also available at all times in the Emergency Department and on the Lower Level. Catering services are also available on request.
