Robotic Assisted Surgery

Robotic assisted surgery is procedures performed using very small tools attached to a robotic arm. The surgeon controls the robotic arm with a computer. Robotic surgery allows the surgeon to make small, precise movements. This allows the surgeon to do a procedure through a small cut that once could only be done with open surgery. Robotic surgery may be used for a number of different procedures, including:

  • Kidney transplant
