Registered Nurse-Hematology/Oncology, Per Diem



Rate: $45.901-$75.583

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


  • Implements safe, competent and efficient patient care within policies, procedures and standards, and intervention as noted in the plan of care
  • Set priorities adapting to changing patient and department situations.
  • Administers chemotherapy and biotherapy directly to patients, implement methods of symptom treatment and monitor patient’s progress
  • Performs assessment, monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions and report findings to physician as needed
  • Teaches patient, family and/or other care provider critical knowledge and skills necessary to accomplish self care regimen and manage decision making of continuing care needs
  • Maintains availability of emergency medications and supplies
  • Ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment
  • May participate in the development and review of policies and procedures
  • Assists in resolving charge discrepancies as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing
  • Current California RN license
  • Minimum one year acute care experience or two years of outpatient care experience
  • Current ACLS and CPR certification required
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism
  • Current hospital approved Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certifications required
  • Capable of performing position related physical requirements
