Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Rate: $20.084-$34.570
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
- Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures
- Demonstrates proficiency in diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including the use of pinhole camera, multi-energy imaging, radio-pharmaceutical preparations, and regulatory record keeping requirements
- Processes films relative to the above listed procedures
- Maintains equipment and work area, and maintains adequate supplies
- Transports and positions patients
- Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required including documentation and maintenance of records per department protocols and State and Federal Regulations
- Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an accredited two or four year Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
- Current California certification/licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current ARRT registration/certification or NMTCB certified
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year medical imaging technologist experience in an accredited acute care facility or clinic
- Certified in Venipuncture Training
- Capable of performing position related physical requirements
