RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST
DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING DEPARTMENT
PAY RANGE: $33.730 – $50.140 PER HOUR
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
- Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures including Radiography and Fluoroscopy; may also perform Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and /or Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Processes films relative to above listed procedures
- Monitors and maintains equipment
- Maintains adequate supplies, and work area
- Transports and positions patients
- Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required; including documentation and maintenance of records per department protocols and State and Federal Regulations
- Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an accredited two or four-year Radiologic Technology program.
- Current California certification/license as a Radiologic Technologist; may also require certification/ license in mammography, ultrasound, and/or nuclear medicine
- ARRT registration/certification required
- Certified in Venipuncture Training
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum one year medical imagining technologist experience in an accredited acute care facility or clinic
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic radiographic procedures including procedures relating to trauma, X-ray, Operating Room X-ray, fluoroscopy, myelography, and arthrography. May require proficiency in mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and/or nuclear medicine
- Capable of performing position related physical requirements
