Manager
Diagnostic Imaging
FLSA Status: Exempt
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
- Directs and supervises the services and non-physician activities of the
Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio Pulmonary Services Departments
- Responsible for development and compliance with all policies and procedures
relevant to department operation
- Supervises the organization and maintenance of department records, documents,
and licenses
- Responsible for annual operating and capital budget activities and management
- Ensures calibration, repair, and safety monitoring of all department equipment
- Consults and coordinates with medical staff to assure procedures are
carried out consistent with policy and procedure and standards of care
- Drives quality improvement activities through ensuring compliance with
Performance Improvement Plan
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, management, or
business highly desirable
- Completion of formal radiographic training in an accredited school
- Current State of California Radiologic Technology License; or within
one monthof hire
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum three years’ experience as radiologist technologist in
an accredited hospital, including a variety of modalities
- Supervisor or progressive management experience necessary
- Demonstrates considerable knowledge of regulatory requirements and process
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills that include guiding and developing
clinical and supervisory staff
- Capable of performing position related physical requirements
