Adventist Health Lodi Memorial and UC Davis Health Partnership
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial and UC Davis Health have joined together to expand pediatric and neonatal care services available in Lodi. Through this one-of-a-kind partnership, UC Davis Health physicians offer care within the Lodi Memorial medical center, establishing a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week instant connection to the UC Davis Medical Center’s dedicated pediatric emergency department.
The partnership includes a new Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) facility in Lodi to treat premature infants with the most current technology and equipment available for neonatal cases. The new NICU greatly increases the level of care available to pediatric patients in the region and decreases the need for ambulance transfers to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
In addition, the partnership provides:
- UC Davis pediatric hospitalists on site for consultation and care of pediatric patients in the emergency department and to care for patients admitted for inpatient services.
- Access to telemedicine for subspecialty consultation with UC Davis pediatric subspecialists.
- Pediatric education and training for health care professionals through the UC Davis PACES program.
