Prostate cancer prevention and early detection for men: What you can do
- Since prostate cancer often gets worse without showing symptoms, every man over age 50 should visit a urologist to follow their guidelines for any additional testing that may be needed.
- Talk with your doctor about having a PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screening, a simple blood test that may help to show the presence of prostate cancer.
