Weight loss procedures & services
Now more than ever, the healthcare community is concerned with how obesity affects the body. Heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis and sleep apnea are just some of the physical ailments linked to obesity — not to mention depression, social anxiety and a diminished quality of life.
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial’s new bariatric surgery is performed at our medical center and a number of support services for the program are available on an outpatient basis to meet your needs before and after surgery. Our bariatric surgery team understands losing weight alone can be one of life’s biggest battles — and it’s not something most people can achieve through diet and exercise alone.
Through Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, candidates can choose from three well-known surgical procedures — particularly vertical sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. To ensure minimal scarring and faster recovery time, our board-certified surgeons use the latest surgical techniques, including laparoscopic (minimally invasive) and robotic-assisted surgery. Our bariatric program is accredited through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
