Leapfrog “Grade A” for Hospital Safety

The Nationally Recognized Leapfrog Group’s Hospital Safety Score is the only independent ratings program that focuses exclusively on how hospitals work to keep their patients safe. This award is a testament to our unyielding commitment to serve the needs of our patients and our community.

Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award for stroke care

The Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award recognizes Adventist Health Lodi Memorial’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period.

Top 10% of national inpatient rehabilitation facilities

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial’s Acute Physical Rehabilitation program ranked in the top 10 percent of 868 inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRF) that qualified to be ranked in the IRF database of Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR) in 2018. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been in the top 10 percent for 10 consecutive years.

Safe Sleep Certification

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial was the first and only hospital in California to become a Gold Champion National Safe Sleep Hospital, and is one of only eight hospitals in California to become an official partner of the Cribs for Kids® National Infant Safe Sleep Initiative. These achievements ensure that Adventist Health Lodi Memorial and educates new parents about safe sleep practices, thus reducing rates of premature infant deaths.

Gold recognition for workplace health achievement

The American Heart Association (AHA) awarded Adventist Health Lodi Memorial Gold level recognition for taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace. The AHA’s Workplace Health Achievement Index uses science-based best practices to evaluate the overall quality and comprehensiveness of workplace health programs. It’s unique because it calculates an average heart health score for employees of participating companies that securely submit aggregate health data.

Baby-Friendly Designation

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been awarded the prestigious international designation of “Baby-Friendly® Hospital” by Baby-Friendly® USA. The global initiative, sponsored by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, is designed to improve maternal and child health. After successfully completing a rigorous onsite survey, the hospital was recognized as one that offers an optimum level of care for infant feeding and mother/baby bonding.

2016 Top Performer Award for Acute Physical Rehabilitation

Acute Physical Rehabilitation program earned 2016 Top Performer Award. APR also ranked in the 98th percentile – in the top 5 percent -- nationally compared to other rehab facilities, according to Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation for 2016.

Beacon Award for Excellence​

In 2016, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) awarded a bronze-level Beacon Award for Excellence to the intensive care unit at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial. The award recognizes unit caregivers who successfully improve patient outcomes and align practices with AACN’s Healthy Work Environment Standards.

‘Top Performer on Key Quality Measures’ Recognition from The Joint Commission (2014)

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial was the only hospital in San Joaquin County to be recognized as part of The Joint Commission’s 2015 annual report “America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety,” for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measures performance for heart attacks, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care and perinatal care.
