Sleep Care

The Adventist Health Sleep Apnea Center is here to help you.

Nothing is as disruptive to leading a normal, productive life as the inability to get good, restful sleep. Almost everyone experiences an occasional sleepless night, but if you find it impossible to sleep night after night consider seeking medical help. If you feel any of the following symptoms it is likely that you have a sleeping disorder:

  • Having excessive daytime sleepiness and fatigue
  • Snoring loudly with periods of no breathing
  • Falling asleep while driving or doing other daytime activities
  • Waking with a dry throat
  • Experiencing morning headaches
  • Showing irritability and mood changes
  • Sleeping restlessly

If you have any of these symptoms, you may have a sleep disorder called sleep apnea. You are not alone! At least 40 million Americans suffer from sleep disorders, and 12 million of those have sleep apnea.

"I was very pleased with all the care I was given." -Patient

Sleep apnea is a serious condition that left untreated can lead to heart disease and stroke. With this disorder, breathing is interrupted and air is prevented from reaching the lungs. This can lead to snoring, excessive daytime fatigue and moodiness.

At the comfortable Sleep Apnea Center, your sleep patterns are tracked overnight, recording valuable information that will lead to a proper diagnosis and the best course of action for you.
