Lung Care in Hanford

In an effort to provide more specialty services in Hanford and to the surrounding South Valley regions, our staff provides outpatient lung care services and diagnostic testing on the third floor of the Hanford Medical Pavilion. Our pulmonologists, or lung care specialists, are available to treat patients who suffer from asthma, chronic obstruction pulmonary disease (COPD) and other associated lung diseases.

The 2,000-square-foot center with three treatment rooms and advanced equipment offers diagnostic tests such as:

  • Six-minute walk test: A pulmonary stress test to determine your ability to perform daily activities
  • Arterial blood gas test: Measures levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood in an artery
  • Body box pulmonary function test: Measures changes in blood and air volume within your body

The physicians and staff also treat patients with sleep-related disorders, nicotine addictions or lung issues like shortness of breath, upper respiratory infections or bronchitis.
