Hospitalists

A hospitalist is a medical doctor who provides patient care during a hospital stay at the request of the patient’s primary care physician. Adventist Medical Center hospitalists are members of the CEP America physician group.

They will:

• Obtain your medical history
• Conduct an initial examination
• Diagnose and treat the patient
• Contact your primary care physician during your hospital stay
• Monitor your progress throughout their stay
• Answer questions you or your family may have
