Having a baby is a momentous occasion. At Adventist Health Glendale, our focus is on helping parents have a positive birth experience while facilitating bonding between families and their new babies.

The Maternity Center at Adventist Health Glendale features two floors of spacious patient rooms and supportive services, all housed in a comfortable, secure environment. Some amenities of the Maternity Center include:
- Comfortable, high-tech rooms
We offer 30 spacious, private patient rooms with high-tech maternity/delivery beds for maximum comfort. There are also special amenities for baby and dad. - Couplet care
After birth, highly-qualified nurses in Couplet Care answer your questions and help new moms and dads bond with their newborns. - On-site C-section facilities
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
This 14-bed Level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is the most experienced NICU in Glendale for babies with special medical needs. - High-risk pregnancy care
Adventist Health Glendale offers inpatient and outpatient perinatal high-risk services for women with complicated pregnancies.
Infant Security
Security measures in the Maternity Center include:
- A security tag placed on your baby that will activate an alarm system if anyone attempts to take an infant out of the area.
- Bands with matching numbers that are placed on you and your baby.
In addition to these security measures, babies who are in stable condition stay with their mothers at all times and all staff will introduce themselves as they take responsibility for your care. They will always wear their employee ID badge in clear view.
