Orthopedic Nursing Unit

As part of a commitment to provide the highest quality of care, Adventist Health Glendale has built a new, dedicated orthopedic inpatient unit that features 20 private rooms. Located in the West Tower, the large, patient-centered rooms have computers with internet access, couches that turn into comfortable sleeping areas for family members, and a large private bathroom and shower. Nursing and support staff on the orthopedic unit have specialized training and certification that helps them serve the unique needs of orthopedic patients.

Additionally, the orthopedic unit offers unique services to assist in your orthopedic healing, including:

• Patient rooms with specialized equipment to help patients remain as mobile and independent as possible
• An on-site rehabilitation gym dedicated specifically to our orthopedic patients, where therapists can help you perform exercises designed to speed your healing process
• Weekly group therapy for orthopedic joint replacement patients
