Comprehensive and Fast Lab Reports
The Lab at Adventist Health Glendale is equipped with automated analyzers. Reports for most tests are available within 24 hours, and overnight reports are available for most results.
Reports can be delivered to physician offices via:
- Fax
- Internet (Medicity ProAccess)/Intranet (Connect)
- Courier
STAT and repeat determinations are handled as follows:
- STAT Reporting - Results of tests requested STAT, as well as results that indicate a life-threatening condition, are immediately called or faxed to the attending physician. The hard copy report will follow, using the normal route of reporting.
- Repeat Determinations - Repeat determinations are
performed at no additional charge whenever the test result appears
inconsistent with the clinical picture presented by the patient. To
request a repeat determination, include the patient's prior laboratory
accession number and explain the circumstances on the Test Request
Form accompanying the new specimen.
