Roberta Garibyan
Acute Care Pharmacy Resident
Roberta Garibyan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology from
California State University Northridge and her Doctor of Pharmacy from
Western University of Health Sciences. Her clinical interests include
acute care, infectious disease, and transitions of care. After completing
her residency, Roberta hopes to continue her career as a clinical pharmacist.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Lena Mazmanyan
Community Pharmacy Resident
Lena Mazmanyan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received
her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from California State University,
Northridge, and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Loma Linda University.
Her clinical interests include transitions of care and ambulatory care.
Upon completion of her residency, Lena plans to pursue a career as a clinical
pharmacist and precept students. In her free time, Lena enjoys listening
to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Michael Palaroan
Acute Care Pharmacy Resident
Michael Palaroan was born and raised in Lakewood, California. He received
his Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from the University
of California, Irvine (UCI) and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
from WesternU College of Pharmacy. His professional interests include
infectious disease and ambulatory care. Upon completing residency, Michael
plans to continue practicing at a pharmacy practice site and concurrently
pursue a career in academia as a professor. In his spare time, Michael
likes to practice Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), participate in AutoCross events,
and play volleyball.
Chanh Pham
Acute Care Pharmacy Resident
Chanh Pham grew up in Oceanside, California. He received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California,
San Diego and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Western University of
Health Sciences. His clinical interests include infectious disease, internal
medicine, and critical care. Upon completion of his residency, Chanh looks
forward to working as an inpatient pharmacist while pursuing additional
BPS board certification, and giving back to the profession any way he
can. In his free time, Chanh enjoys playing tennis, exploring new restaurants,
camping with friends, and videography.
Kenia Valenzuela
Acute Care Pharmacy Resident
Kenia Valenzuela was born and raised in Southern California. She received
a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with an emphasis in medical
sciences from the University of California, Riverside and her Doctor of
Pharmacy degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Her clinical
interests include critical care, infectious disease, and transitions of
care. Following residency, Kenia looks forward to working as a clinical
pharmacist where she can precept students and continue to expand her clinical
knowledge. In her free time, Kenia enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding,
and spending time with family and friends.
